Yes, if your hard drive is large enough, if your CPU is fast enough, and if you have enough RAM. Some people use dual OS's, but if you have the right hardware, you can just start with a fresh OS. Remember, the software for Linux won't be the same as Windows software. Just figure out how to get the BIOS to boot to the Windows OS thumb drive and it will load if you have the right hardware. Check the Windows specifications
