I did a fresh install on a new system, but I believe they offer a option to do a keep data install or clean. I still recommend saving any hard files you want to keep. Installed apps and programs can always be reinstalled just keep the downloaded install .exe if they’re hard to redownload

I believe not all the apps transferred to the nee computer. But the newer versions that are windows 10 will have to be updated anyways.
