Still well worth it for the simple reason its fit for comfort. You can change analog sticks and the directional pad, and you can remap any of the buttons to suit your style unlike standard controls.

With Geek Squad, they fix hardware issues with a item, not upgrades. You can use the Best Buy Trade In to get some money back for it and buy something else of you go that route.
