“What does the “coming soon” mean? I was told by a Best Buy employee that it is a new version coming in, but what does that mean?”

• They were out of stock so they were coming soon. The version 2 Xbox elite controller will be out this November.

• These controller are rarely for sale. Not sure if it’s to increase demand, or hard to keep up with the demand. Maybe even to reduce insurance claims on the product since many say they don’t last. If you purchase one don’t buy without insurance, which will bump price up to 200.00. You’ve been warned!!! Buy Insurance
