There really is no difference other than one you have to go out and get and the other you can purchase and download from the comfort of your home...

Is super easy to just enter code off of the card under the redeem code area on the Xbox dashboard. Super fast and easy for us! Plus it is nice to have actual item in a card form to see in stocking too.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, there's no difference. Card version has a scratcher on the back that reveals a code, so whichever you choose, you get a code that you need to redeem. Only reason to get one over the other is if there is a sale.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is no actual difference. When you buy the card they give you a code to input on the system. If you do it digitally you don't get the actual card... Which is useless once you input the code in.
