“I just purchased a six month Xbox live membership & I didn't notice it was 2016 does that make a difference in using it in 2017? We currently do not have a membership !”

I do not believe that it will make a difference. I would keep your receipt and scratch the code and give it a try. Should work with zero issues.

It shouldn't matter. It should roll over but if you have questions, you can contact Microsoft about it.

I don’t see why that would matter? Maybe asking customer service through Microsoft would better answer for you.

it shouldn't matter. it's all about the code you enter. I don't think they ever expire
