It all depends which games are his favorite. The Game Pass will give him access to hundreds of free games for the term length of the psss 6-12 months. Some gamea have to be bought and downloaded but those he will keep forever.

He will need to purchase games separately or get a game pass subscription as well. Games can be purchased in stores as physical copies or can be downloaded from Xbox.
