If the system comes with 3 months of XBox Live, it should be in the box. As I understand it (just bought this), it comes with 14 days of XBox Live free and 3 months of XBox Game Pass. Confused yet? XBox Live = connecting to XBox's servers to play multiplayer games, store saves, etc. XBox Game Pass = play 100+ games for free. Think "Netflix for XBox."
