• You can use this either way. The bluetooth dongle/adapter is just for wireless, but you can use this with a usb-c cable.

• It’s works with cable. It’s actually a lot more stable with a cable than wireless.

• Works fine with cable plugged in PC directly. Wireless dongle is not bluetooth. If you want vibration on PC you have to use the dongle or plug in with USB. Vibration does not work on a xbox controller connected with bluetooth.
