“Does this controller require a different rechargeable battery than other controllers. I just received the Mineral Camo controller and my previous rechargeable battery fits but the cover for the battery does not. Very frustrating.”

Make sure you purchase the correct rechargeable battery for your X BOX Series X/S. DO NOT GET the XBox ONE rechargeable battery, battery may work but the cover is configure to a specific type of XBox ONE controller. Buyer please be aware of product details and specification before purchasing. It's costly mistake and a lesson learn first hand.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since the newer controllers are smaller, the original battery covers don’t fit anymore. Nyko makes one with back covers for these newer controllers. Series 1 and 2 have built in batteries and come with a charging stand. Plus all the paddles for extreme gaming, that I highly recommend.
