“My phone broke and they charged me the $200 replacement fee plus tax. I've done many phone insurance claims (and car insurance too) in my life and I have never paid tax on my deductible. Is this normal now to pay tax?”

• Yes because the deductible is toward a replacement not a repair. It’s not the same
