• No headphone jack needed. Case has hole where headphone jack is located.

• Yes! I had the previous version for my iPhone 5s and that was one annoying issue. They corrected this issue from the Juice Pack for iPhone 5/5s. The bottom of the case is more shallow and doesn't need an extension/adapter to plug in headphones.
