It does not come with a phone case for carrying your phone around. They are probably referring to the nice box/packaging it arrives in. They went a bit overboard on the packaging. You could use it as a display stand for your phone. It does come with a nice case for the charger and head phone adapter. But it is not a case for carrying your phone around with you. 

For a phone case, I went with the Evutec’s Karbon case. Fits nice and looks good. All the cases I could find did not appear to provide much protection should you drop the phone.

The bottom of the box is a stand for the phone, which is supposed to amplify the sound. I have not used it that way, so I cannot say if it works. There is no other case because of its flip-phone design.
