            Answer

No. I put in a Verizon sim and while it did say Verizon Wireless and did get a signal strength it immediately went to NO SERVICE. I logged in to Verizon website and entered the IMEI it said not compatible. While the phone WILL technically work because it does support the CDMA bands, Verizon will probably not authorized the IMEI. Hope this helps. It should work great on AT&T, T-Mobile, Metro, Cricket, Simple Mobile and other GSM carriers.

Hi dawn, Moto G 3rd gen is a GSM unlocked phone and is compatible with GSM Carriers. But you may need to confirm it directly from Straight talk if they will support the device. - Ella

I searched several times by Verizon unlocked phones and find this one always there, so could you confirm if it's really compatible with Verizon? I just don't want to waste my time to return it and possibly need to pay a fee to return it. Thanks.   (1 Answer)

Hi Jevin, Verizon is a CDMA Carrier and Moto G 3rd gen is a GSM unlocked phone and is compatible with GSM Carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile and Cricket. But I would suggest contacting Verizon to verify the information. - Ella
