• No. it only works with 10th gen intel. You will need a z390 MoBo

• Nope - the i7-8700 uses the LGA 1151 type of CPU slot, this board has the LGA 1200 (mostly 10th gen chips, I think).

• No. the 8700 is an 8th generation cpu. This motherboard only supports the new 10th generation cpu's
