Hey, You might be connecting it into your motherboard instead of your graphics card. I would try that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had this problem too except it was on HDMI and I wanted DP. There's no monitor menu, which is incredibly annoying, but I did find a fix. Turn your computer off and unplug your monitor, wait about 30 seconds (power cycling it), then turn your computer on and plug your monitor back in and turn it on (in that order). It should auto recognize the input and switch to HDMI automatically.
