“I have recently ordered the monitor and have come to find out about a joystick on the back panel that allows you to change settings. I will not be connecting this monitor to a desktop but to a Xbox. Will I still be able to open settings with the joystick?”

yes the control joystick works as well as a remote would on a tv...all you have to do is plug in the hdmi to your console before turning on the monitor then simply flick the joystick left if facing the monitor or right if facing the back.
