• Yes, my unit shipped with a single dimm of 8 GB and one additional open slot. From the reviews the factory memory is not the best so I replaced with 16GB x 2 Dimms for a total of 32GB. Also replaces the small SSD chip drive with 1 TB. This unit rocks for what I do. Good luck.

• Yes you can. Max ram is 64gb but recommended ram is DDR4 3200Mhz Sodimm.
