Can it be used to charge a MacBook Pro? If so, how? null

Nope Your Mac book has a special MagSafe power adapter ...Mac books can not be charged via USB port.

At bed bath and beyond you can buy a cable for 12.00 that has a connector for apple and android

This can be used to charge most USB chargeable devices with the proper cables.
