Yes. When you switch to a new input there is always a delay and this has not changed with the eARC version. If the device is connected directly to the soundbar and not to the TV then there is no delay for pause/unpause/stop/start/rewind. The only things that are different between this and the ARC version is eARC support, 300W more power, better subwoofer range, and updated SSE. It is a HUGE difference in sound!

Moving between sources, powering on and off can on occasion have a very short delay, but definitely not an issue. Btw, some of those delays are based on the OS and lag with streaming services. Not a problem with the sound system. I owned the previous model and upgraded to this beast, and I absolutely love it. eARC is fabulous and I would take this system over any soundbar system on the market.
