• No it does have to be plugged into the wall. The app is easy to use and will turn the lights on with ease.

• hello and thank you for your interest with the Nanoleaf Shapes. The Shapes Ultra Black Triangles have their own Power Supply and Controller, however, they can be connected to the PC via the Nanoleaf Desktop.
