No loose ground unless it is in a pod made for nespresso

Basically you need nespresso capsules. Other options, there are, don’t work so well.

Need to use pods only as they sit vertically in the machine. There are after market refillable pods available

This machine takes Nespresso pods, so unfortunately you can't use loose grounds.

Nespresso uses their own pods and there are two different types neither of which is compatible with Kuerrig. I think their may be refillable aftermarket pods available but I'm not positive. The cost is about 70-80 cents each.
