• Yes, you do need internet for the goggle speaker to work. It does not have Bluetooth capabilities, the only way to connect to it is through internet (WiFi).

• I don’t think so, you can connect to it directly from Bluetooth so I don’t believe you need an internet connection. Obviously it would be able to be anything but a Bluetooth speaker without internet though.
