“How bright is the screen? Will it keep me up at night? Is there a way to turn the screen off while I'm sleeping or does it have an auto dimmer like my phone that turns the brightness down at night when all the lights are off?”

It has an auto dimmer when your lights are off it turns nearly all the way off. You can also set it to stay at a certain brightness or use ambient mode (auto dimmer) see pics. I have found the auto dimmer to be great.
