They both basically does the same thing, but in my experience with both I enjoy the Google hub better. I receive more correct answers with the Google Hub than I do with the Echo.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Google Hub supports Google's search, Youtube, and Youtube Music, which Alexa will not. Alexa doesn't always come back with answers to questions that Google Hub will because Google Hub can use Google search. Amazon relies on Amazon's store and content.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The big difference is in Amazon Echo it has. Voice only but Google home hub has screen where you can show your saved photo on Google photo. You can play Tube on the screen. You can see weather report.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Google Home/Google Assistant and Amazon Echo/Alexa will do most of the same things: answer questions, play music, control smart home stuff, etc. The main thing is if you prefer Google integration or Amazon integration. If you use Google Calendar, Gmail, Youtube, etc, you're much better off buying into a Google Home as it integrates with those products more. If you want to use a smart speaker to buy things from Amazon, or play things on Prime Video, then take a look at what Echo has to offer
