Will the speaker sync with my Google Nest doorbell (battery version) to announce and/or chime when the doorbell is pressed? I seriously cannot believe there isn't a chime for this doorbell otherwise, but it's true. null

Yes, at least mine does. I highly recommend using them together. I bought them together and i love how the products sync up compliment eachother.

I have my wired Nest doorbell connected to my Nest Hub along with my Google speakers and announcements are heard through Hub and speakers.

A chime is not included with a purchase of Nest doorbells, but when a visitor presses your Nest Doorbell (battery), you can hear an audible alert if you have compatible smart speakers or displays, like Nest Mini or Nest Hub. You can connect a Google speaker or display and set up visitor announcements if you want to get notified when someone rings your doorbell when you’re home. No. Your battery doorbell will ring through you existing doorbell wired to your home, otherwise the doorbell camera itself will ring if using only with the battery.
