• We recommend setting up your Nest WiFi router and points no more than 2 rooms away from each other as a general rule. It's better to put the router and points in an elevated position like on a shelf, to provide better signal transmission.

• I do not know the full range, but I have a 3000 square foot house. The main unit is central downstairs. The second unit is upstairs in our bonus room. Straight line distance is probably 30 feet. It is more like 80 walking.
