I had the same question. Yesterday, I met with a Best Buy in home consultant regarding upgrades to our home entertainment system and internet. He told me to connect the time capsule to the Google/Nest via the ethernet cable, and then turn off the WiFi from the Time Capsule via the Apple Airport Utility. I have not tried it yet since I have not yet purchased the Google/Nest. Hope it works as suggested!

That said, I can't envision why this wouldn't work since the Mesh is creating a network environment in which all other devices and apps will run. I looked up the Apple Time Capsule and it looks like it has a Ethernet cable for connectivity rather than Wi-Fi. If that's true, then it will have to sit next to the Nest Wi-Fi Router since the router is the only device in the Nest Mesh that has an Ethernet port.
