“Does this work with Amazon's Alexa? I was told by Best Buy employee yes. So I bought this lock and a few Alexa products at the same time. I could not get them to pair so I did some more research and was then told to buy Samsung Smart Things Hub to bridge?”

Google has bought out nest products. Thus has eliminated all integration with any product other than Google assist. Alexa and Siri have no immigration possibilities with Yale X. Would recommend avoiding this product and going with a third-party Product that has no competition with google.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used this product with Google home assistant it paired easily but the only thing that it would not do is unlock the door using Google. It would lock the door with no issues. I did not have to use Samsung smart things hub.
