“New nest products are not supported by the nest app. Most things have migrated to the Google Home app. I don't want to end up with half my products on Nest and half on Google home. Does this work with Google Home or is it old technology?”

Hey there, Sven! We appreciate your interest. Setup and controls are found in the Nest app. While you can manage and change the lock settings with either Nest app or Google Home app, full features and functionality are found in the Nest app. Voice control with Google Assistant requires a compatible smart device (sold separately).
