• We’ve been using this modem on Optimum in Northern NJ for a few months and a few weeks ago changed from the router that Optimum had provided to a Netgear Nighthawk AX5200 during the Black Friday sales. They work great together and the new router is a lot more stable and provides much greater range than the old one. Very happy we made the changes.

• I have mine paired with an Asus router it's Working well. I hope that answers your question.
