Yes. Ofcourse you need that internet signal to hit the data switch first then you’ll have 4 hot ports to use as you may.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Short answer is, no. HDMI is a video/audio coded cable. The product receives Ethernet which is different. It receives 1 “source” Ethernet connection and splits to 4 other devices and routes data via Ethernet protocols. So essentially the video/audio coded data your computer will transmit from the HDMI is not compatible. There are HDMI switching and splitter products which would work better for you.
