I just bought a Google Mesh Wifi System as suggested by my Spectrum service technician. Problem is I have no spare ethernet ports to plug it in to. Will this box work for that? If so do I plug the box into the modem and then the mesh system into the box? null

Run an ethernet from the modem to the netgear box, then you have 5 open ports.

Note sure how a Mesh system works. I purchase this as only have one output coming from wall and needed to connect 2 gaming systems, a computer and streaming TV. Works great for that and did not lose much speed.

Yes. Always come from a router to feed the Data switch then to the Wi-Fi system.
