• No, the specific device has to be set up to accept installs for software, and Microsoft has the Xbox1 locked to only allow from Games.

• I would not recommend this product for anything. We had one, it died after 20 days. We got a replacement (through NETGEAR) and it didn't work but in a different way. Frustrating. Wasted several hours on the phone with the company's help line.

• Hey! The Xbox One S already has wifi connection built into the console itself. However, even if your Xbox didn't have a WiFi antenna built in, you couldn't use this to connect with. It uses software that you have to download, and you can't install non-xbox compatible software. There used to be special antenna's you could buy for the Xbox to bring wifi to it, but that was back in the Xbox/xbox360 days. Every Xbox comes with Wifi connection as a standard these days.
