Yes it will! I too had the same problem and I set up the router on my main floor, put one satellite in the basement and one satellite on the second floor. I have excellent connectivity and speed on all three floors! I also have the luxury of having ethernet to the second floor so instead of connecting that satellite to the router wirelessly I have it connected direct. The other one in the basement is wireless 5 Mgz and both work equally well. I love this router system and it is priced way better than Orbi. Not paying for a name!
