“I have the Nighthawk X6S AC4000 Tri-Band router at home. I am dropping about 25% signal from the router to the farthest TV in the house. I want to boost the signal to stop the TV from freezing for a second during 4K streaming. Will this extender work ok ?”

This will definitely work for that. I live in a 2 story house and with this extender, I am now getting a constant 70-100 Mbps upstairs, where as before I was only getting 2-3 Mbps.

Please try again later.Very likely but my suggestion would be have a hard wire into 4K tv - that’s what I have settled down for on all my TVs after various wireless combinations tried! That said, if you don’t have an option but wireless, keep the extender as close to tv as possible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It should. I have zero problems streaming 4K using mine. If you place the X6S close enough to run a cable from it to your TV you will definitely be able to stream 4k.
