Yes, you can use this as a hard wired access point.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is a mesh system that is wifi only, and uses the same network. It does not use a diiferent network or change the network to be something else. The network and password is the same as your router, therefore it meshes with the existing network only to extend it so that it doesn't drop signal or ask you to sign into a different network. Hope this all makes sense.
