“I have a mother in law apt above a detached garage approximately 100 feet from the house. Would this Help? I have a cheaper one I am using now but doesn’t work well enough for my son to play his games. Thanks JIM”

• I would say no....it’s too far away from the modem. You would probably have to run Cat5e/6 out of your house in the garage and have another router for this too work. It would be a lot more work but it would be good for now and the future for when you want to use that space for something else, ie. rent out.
