“I'm setting this up and have indicator lights as green. But, the two ext networks showed up on my phone at first but then went away??? I'm not seeing them on my laptop either. What can I try now? AC2200 Extender”

It took me two or three times to get it working, so try rebooting your modem & router ... and the Nighthawk unit. I am assuming you have installed the app on your phone; but if you haven't, do that before doing the reboots. Also, be patient. When I was getting tired of trying and took a break, it made all the connections. I also think centrally locating the unit is important. Good luck.
