I’m sure it will. I paired this thing with my nighthawk x10 and as long as you have a white light on your WPS indicator, you’ll expand the range significantly for 5G. Even if you had an amber light the 2.4 GHz range would be significant as well but try to keep the WPS light white and you shouldn’t have a problem.

I put it in the middle of house and it does very well. What I don't understand is the Xfinity modem goes up to 250 speed at the main computer but even with the extender we only get 40 at other end of house.
