• Yes you can. As long as it’s protected from the elements of course. Make sure your connection light is either white or amber and not red. If it’s red, it’s too far away from your router.

• You could yes, however the unit is not weather proof. As long as your current signal is in the vicinity it should be fine. Remember, this picks up and amplifies and extends the signal and network you currently have.

• No as the product I do not think is built for outside weather conditions; however, but you could place the netgear halfway from your router and the outside and this would allow for wifi extending purposes for the outside area you are intending to target.
