That really depends on your location and area of the house, but normally if you place a router in your personal room, especially on 5G, the range is usually <50 ft away (probably out of the front/back door) before the networks disappears on your phone. AC3100 also is the combination of speeds of 1300 Mbps on both 5G and 500 Mbps on 2.4G networks.
