Please try again later.I can't be sure without knowing every little detail about the devices being used, and what's in their path etc. but most likely the device you are using only supports 2.4 Ghz wifi or at least the devices you're relaying through if you're still having to do that. 2.4 Ghz has a lot that can cause interference because a lot of devices and such use this frequency. It could even just be that the signal has trouble going through your basement ceiling. The 2 bands that supply 5 Ghz wifi, well they do you no good unless your devices are compatible with that signal. The 5Ghz band should see less interference, but that doesn't mean it's infallible. Double check your devices compatibility. It's fairly obvious just by looking at your available networks. If you have the 5Ghz bands broadcasting, then any device compatible should see, and be able to connect with them, if not they simply are not compatible. If you can, I'd see about moving your base connection out of the basement.
