“Are all of the functions available when the netgear ac3200 is used as a secondary router (behind another primary router)? I tried the wrt3200 and the firmware update, remote update and speedtest were not available when configured as secondary router.”

It can be used as a secondary router but why? You just killing your speed. All the functions will work just make sure to restart all equipment and set up the router first before u connect to the other router.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a sixteen port workgroup switch going to my modem. It allows me to connect several devices that run automatically to the internet. I have connected the netgear ac3200 to the switch as well as another netgear ac2300 that my son uses in his "Pad" in the basement of our home. As far as I can tell, everything works very well even if he is watching TV through the WiFi.
