• I can't answer your question because our house is single level. I got it because we have 2 TVs, 3 computers, 2 cell phones and 2 Nest cameras that we needed the WiFi for. our home is 2200 Sq Ft and this Orbi by Netgear is built for 3500 sq. ft. home. Best to talk to the sales person at the store. We told him what our budget was and he recommended this model to us. So far it has operated great.

• Yes sir basically what I did is whenever the signal started to get to around 2 bars I added a satellite and voila full service again. Highly recommend even tho it's a bit pricey.
