Depends more on your internet speed service from your internet company. This is a fast router but it can't go any faster than the service you are receiving. If you were using a really old router, then the old router might be the bottleneck and this router could help. But if the actual service from your internet provider is the bottleneck then this can't help much. If you have not already done this, type 'Speedtest' into your web browser search. Speedtest (by Ookla) is a website that will test your internet speed. What you can do is run the test from a computer that is hardwired (plugged into) your router, and then run the test from a device connected by wifi. Compare the two results. If the speed test on your wifi device is much slower than the hardwired device, then a new wireless router could help. But if the speeds are similar or the same, a new wireless router probably won't help because your internet service is the limiting factor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Your speed is dependent on your cable company.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your current router is designed only for slower speeds, fewer connected devices, smaller coverage area, etc, you may see an improvement across all connected devices; however, no router can improve your connection through your ISP if your service itself is the issue.
