Absolutely. It is best to use this exclusively but also can be used with other devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You'll still need a modem. This replaces the router
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. That’s what I did exactly. I disabled the WiFi on my cable modem and configured ORbi as AP mode only. So all my wireless devices use the Orbi exclusively. My cable modem still functions as a router since I have a GigE switch connected to it for my hardwired devices. Everything works fine,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you still need the wifi input- this is just a router and signal 'booster' set u[.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will still need a modem and a subscription through an ISP in order to access the Internet, but you could certainly replace your current router with the Orbi router. The Orbi wall plug will require a connection to the Orbi router (wirelessly). The Orbi router will require a direct Ethernet connection to your home's modem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This will create a WiFi network of its own but will not have internet access unless you provide it using either another WiFi router or an ethernet connection from an internet service.
