“I know the question has been asked but in different ways. Can i use the main orbi router with a ISP gateway (modem and router combined),DHCP NAT MODE and simply turn off broadcast of 2.4&5ghz or am i good to go by placing gateway in bridge.any advantages.”

I just connected Orbi to my other router, gave it a different name, and kept them both running.

Please try again later.You have the option of either replacing your current combination device's WiFi signal (i.e. turn off the WiFi radio in your combination device) and strictly running the Orbi's signal (recommended method), or you can run the Orbi alongside it in Access Point mode.
