“Currently I have a Spectrum Router and a Spectrum Modem setup. Do I need to contact Spectrum to disconnect my router to install my NEW Orbi? Or can I just disconnect the the Spectrum provided router and connect the New Orbi Router?”

• Does the spectrum modem have Ethernet ports? If it does have ethernet ports, you should be able follow the Orbi setup procedure to use your Orbi with that modem.

• It is simple to just unplug your Spectrum wi-fi router and plug in the new one then return the old one to Spectrum.
