• Yes you can plug it in and they will communicate with one another plus you can look at the signal strength off of your Orbi app on your phone if you have downloaded the app itself. Great system works well!

• Using the App on your smart phone select add a satellite and follow the directions on the app. That's all you need to do to expand your networks coverage. I added an outdoor satellite to have great coverage outside on my patio.

• pretty much, just plug in and it will sync...but if you're not having success then reset the main orbi, then press the Sync button on the Satellite after and wait for the blue yellow or red light if it turns blue for a few seconds then you should be all set.
